I love exuberant color, contrast, and detail! I had a very vivid childhood – a kind of “Winnie the Pooh” experience. My work today reflects my childhood and the delight that I find in people and nature all around me!

I enjoy photography, ceramics, graphic design, and sculpture, but my heart truly lies in drawing and painting – particularly children’s book illustration. The playful innocence of children’s books fit my personality and artistic style, while the layout, grid, and storyboarding aspects of book design satisfy my love for organization, and attention to detail.

I love capturing expressions - particularly of animals, and spend much of my
free time exploring portraiture.

Thanks for sharing your portfolio Brianna.
Your work truly illustrates your passion and skill within a variety of subjects. Kim and I have three four legged creatures (yellow dogs) at home that you will need to meet because they will eventually become your subjects!
