.::. Artist Statement .::.
I believe that design is a part of our everyday lives.  Every product on the market started out as an idea or a concept and followed a strategic path until it became what we see on a shelf.  Designers play an important role in many steps of this process and help make sure that this idea becomes a reality.  The idea of this process is something I always keep in mind when I’m working on a project.

Before I became interested in design I was heavily involved in business.  When I work on a project, not only do I focus on the artistic and creative side, I also try and see things from a business perspective.  This plays an integral role in my art direction and project management because I’ve found that I need to think big when it comes to ideas and execution but I also need to be realistic and stay within certain constraints.

While I have enjoyed being a student and taking on many projects and internships, I’m ready to put my talents to use in the professional world as a full-time designer.  I want to continue expanding my knowledge in all aspects of design and hope to work my way up to becoming an art director in an agency setting.  I’m proud of the work that I’ve created so far and I want to use the passion that I have for design to drive me to create more work to be proud of.
