Exam Week: 12.13-12.16




Students... it's finally here!   Strive to get through these next couple of days and you will have a few weeks of vacation.  Exams can be a stressful time and we wish the best for all of our students; good luck! Here are a few pointers for exam week:
  • Remember to sleep.  Go to bed at a reasonable hour and get a decent amount of sleep.  You can't always depend on Red Bull and Alterra to keep you up all day.
  • Eat breakfast.  Eating a healthy, balanced breakfast before your exams will keep you motivated and concentrated.  Try to avoid empty calories like a sugar-based cereal.  
  • Come prepared.  Double check your backpack before you leave your house/dorm room.  Make sure you have enough pencils, any additional tools you may need (calculator anyone?), and an extra snack in between tests.
  • Write down your schedule.  Even if you think you have it memorized, write it down!  Exams are scheduled different than class times... it's better to be safe than sorry.
  • Stay positive.  Be confident and think good thoughts.  The more positive you are, the easier the answers will come to you... don't forget to study, though!

After your exams are done, it's time to treat yourself!  Some great local businesses include Yo Mama (frozen yogurt), Cafe Centraal (bar and grill), and Brick 3 (pizza).
