After the Exhibition: MAM After Dark Swing

Yesterday, we talking about our student's new showcase.  Looking for something to do after the reception?  Head on over to MAM After Dark!

From 5:00 until midnight the Milwaukee Art Museum will host it's monthly event geared towards young adults: MAM After Dark: Swing.  This event is all based around swing dancing and other fun oddities from the 1920's.  The Doug Brown-Michelle Duvall Swing Band will be performing all night and the teachers of Cream City Swing will be giving swing dance lessions.  There will also be an opportunity to see the current exhibition Accidental Genius, sample gin based mixed-drinks at the gin tasting (21+ only), and a one-night-only exhibition of installations from UWM and MIAD students.  As always there will be a DIY studio and a photo booth.  You can read more about the event here.

Admission is free for museum members (free for Stritch students who bring their student IDs!).  Other tickets can be purchased as well.  Tickets are $12 at the door or $6 (plus fees) in advance.
