ART 131: Linear Form Project

Students in the Sculpture 1 class recently wrapped up one of their first large projects; the assignment was to create a wire form that emphasized line and movement without adding unnecessary parts.  The 3D form had to stand on its own and had to exaggerate a characteristic.  Students could only use wire to bind things and had the option of adding one non-wire prop to further tell the story of their objects.

All of the sculptures are currently displayed in the hall next to CFA 131.
