.::. Artist Statement .::.
I have always loved experimenting, whether that was with photography, film, or just life in general depended on the day. Art does not only remain in the art category. It is constantly evolving. It has a way of mixing into the sociological world for me. Why does a camera make most people cringe or how does a movie give you goose bumps? These questions fascinate me and understanding through exploration reflects on my goal to enhance other’s perceptions of society.
Embracing moments of contemplation is what inspires me. We are questioning life every day and it is a beautiful thing. I like to capture that beauty through my forms of art. There is no formula or scientific answer for why our personalities change at the sight of a black plastic container with a lense or how we get overly emotional by something that is being projected on a flat screen. But, the beauty is we have the power to ask: why?
